Invisalign Treatment Holds the Key to a Brighter Future

It’s easy to imagine how cosmetic dentistry like Invisalign treatment could change someone’s life. You may be like many people, imagining your smile with beautiful, straight white teeth and wishing that dream could come true.

It can come true, thanks to Dr. Acosta’s skills with the Invisalign technique. For almost two and a half decades, orthodontic patients around the world have been using Invisalign’s clear plastic teeth aligners to perfect their smiles. To date, over 6.5 million patients have completed treatment.

The Invisalign system is the leader in clear aligner orthodontics. Here are a few benefits of Invisalign treatment:

  • Effective – The aligners are made from a special plastic called SmartTrack®, designed to gently move your teeth into their proper positions.
  • Metal-Free – There is no metal involved, so the aligners are comfortable and easy to get used to.
  • Removable – You can remove the aligners as needed for brushing, eating, or a special occasion. Just be sure to wear them for at least 22 hours during your treatment to maximize their results.
  • Discreet – The aligners are so discreet that others will barely notice you’re wearing them. Your orthodontic treatment can be your own little secret. The only thing others will see is your smile getting straighter and straighter.
  • Fast – Your care will be quick. Many of our patients complete their treatment in as few as 12 months. That beats the two years or longer that standard braces normally require.

To get started on your new smile, call Acosta Dental Arts today at 561-763-9578. Schedule a free consultation to find out more about Invisalign in North Palm Beach.

Common Questions About Invisalign

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign uses a series of clear plastic aligners that fit over your teeth to move them into the correct positions. You’ll progress through a series of aligners during your treatment, wearing each set for about two weeks before moving to the next set. In a matter of months, you could have a brand-new smile without using any metal.

Is Invisalign painful?

Your Invisalign aligners will be comfortable because they don’t contain any metal or pointed edges that can irritate sensitive areas in your mouth. Most of our patients report little or no trouble getting used to the aligners. They will fit snugly over your teeth and gently shift them into their ideal positions.

How long does Invisalign take?

On average, Invisalign treatment takes an average of 12 to 18 months. Your exact length of treatment will depend on your unique situation. Once we’ve had a chance to examine your teeth and work up a treatment plan at a free consultation, we can give you a better idea of how long your treatment will take. We’ll make sure you know what to expect before your orthodontic care begins.

What does Invisalign look like?

When they are not in your mouth, Invisalign aligners resemble very thin, clear mouthguards. Because they are made of clear plastic and fit snugly over your teeth, they are difficult to see when they’re in your mouth. Chances are, many people won’t even realize you are wearing them!
