An Immediate Smile Transformation
What are Dental Veneers?
A dental veneer is a thin layer of synthetic material (porcelain or composite) that is bonded to the tooth’s surface. With porcelain veneers, the cosmetic material is designed to be beautifully white but also natural-looking so it reflects light just as a natural tooth enamel would. Veneers can dramatically improve the appearance of your teeth and are a great alternative to otherwise painful dental procedures.
Porcelain Veneers can help fix the following common problems:
- Spaces between teeth
- Broken or chipped teeth
- Permanently or discolored teeth
- Crooked or misshapen teeth
Porcelain Veneer in North Palm Beach & Juno Beach
Veneers are often referred to as “Instant Orthodontics”. A substantial aesthetic effect can be obtained with a veneer, with minimal tooth preparation being required. If you live in North Palm Beach or Juno Beach and are interested in getting porcelain veneers for yourself or a loved one, contact us at 561-622-0301 to schedule a Free Smile Assessment with Dr. Acosta – walk-ins with no insurance are welcomed (we will do our best to accommodate you if openings are available).
Veneers can be applied to teeth in just as little as 2 visits to the dentist, the process goes as follows:
- Visit # 1: Veneer Preparation. The teeth are prepared by removing 0.3 to 0.5 mm of enamel to make room for the veneer layer. An impression of the teeth is taken and sent to a specialized dental laboratory that will create the veneers.
- Visit #2: Veneer Bonding. Bonding permanently attaches the veneer to the tooth. After a thorough cleaning the veneer is bonded to the tooth using dental-grade cement which is then hardened with a blue curing light.
Two appointments with Dr. Acosta is all it takes to give you a smile you can be proud of, call us at 561-622-0301 or fill out our contact form to schedule your Free Smile Assessment.
